babette bed and breakfast
2 december 2020
Wim shares his journey from very successful strategy consultant in Europe to starting a bed and breakfast in South Africa. It is an inspiring story of a couple deciding to redefine the definition of success. I do ask him if after this experience he thinks all the consulting methods and jargon are as valuable as he once thought…
Wim is the owner of Babette Bed and Breakfast in Swellendam, South Africa. Six years ago he decided to say farewell to his career in international business consultancy to find out what it feels like to build up a life in a totally new industry on a different continent.
Since then he loves looking after his guests, makes his business better and better and enjoys repairing things, cycling, and reading books about history and business.
The Babette Bed & Breakfast is one of the top rated B&B’s in the region: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g469397-d6937584-Reviews-Babette_Bed_and_Breakfast-Swellendam_Overberg_District_Western_Cape.html
