Jen Dumitrescu shares some tactics on how to simplify your life for self-employed people and real-estate agents in particular.

After 15 years of experience as a real estate agent, I wanted to simplify the process for other agents. We all got into business with a dream to work less. Be your own boss and make unlimited sums of money. For most, the reality has been different, but there’s no time like the present to change the direction of your business and your happiness. I now consult with Agents and offer an online course to support agents in getting efficient, finding the “missing” money and leveraging systems and processes to simplify their business.

I don’t like inefficiencies and so how I communicate with people through consulting is all built around how do I make it easy and efficient for them. I identified that most agents can’t sit down long enough to write out processes so we created a spreadsheet with this info that’s transferable to most agents but how do you use it? Great, it’s written down- now what? We created a Trello board that has all the steps and automates the process so it’s easy for an agent and the agent’s team to all be on the same page and see how their clients move through the process and remain organized with ease.
