Born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico. Ignacio is a Chemical Engineer who graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a postgraduate studies from University Canada West in Canada. He has been professor in the area of Industrial and Systems Engineering & Innovation, as well as mentor for growing program of companies.

Ignacio is a self-taught entrepreneur and shoe designer. He has been a founder, CEO, and shoe designer of his own shoe manufacturing company, creating a fertile experimental field where, over 25 years, he has designed and perfected a methodology for generating innovation. An innovative entrepreneurship model based on the philosophy of Design Thinking and Lean Startup. He is currently founder and CEO of Design Thinking Collabs, a consulting firm specialized in the application of the methodology Design Thinking, Lean Startup and Appreciative Inquiry, designing and implementing systems of continuous innovation, Business Models and imparting training for entrepreneurs and corporate entrepreneurs.

Design Thinking Collabs is a highly professional worldwide educative consulting firm. The implemented methods are strongly committed to experimentation, results- based and sustainability. Design Thinking approach is designated to help organizations either in public or private sectors, to innovate and grow; furthermore, implementing it as a platform to generate products, services, business and new management models.
